    But the best autonomy/job security today is based on being able to make and market. It's never been more important to be a part of the "creator economy".

    Who are you, why should I listen to you?

    My name is Woody Hayday. Software I've built has generated $1m+ in revenue, (15~ products launched). I've had two exits, most recently ZBS to Automattic, and I've mentored others who've successfully built software to replace their 9-5's.


    You totally do not have to listen to me, but the autonomy gained from building software and selling it has been the most impactful thing I've done in my working life.

    How long will it take me to complete the course?

    This course is designed for software engineers to spend around 2 hours learning time. There are action points and study options (e.g. bonus lessons) which you may want to apply to your product/project which you could spend longer working on, but the core course should take around 2 hours.

    Will this help me compete with larger businesses?

    In brute-force dollar spend it will always be hard to compete on playing fields like Ads. This course is designed to help you get traction in your niche, to take actionable steps to move the needle.


    Starting out it's probably not viable to attack a market the same way a multi-national does, but by shrewd marketing, one day you may well get there. Also, in today's "creator economy" the rules have changed somewhat. Authenticity counts, and you've got it, because you're the engineer behind the product!

    Nope. The course is self-guided; you can step through it at your own pace. You'll have access for life, but it's not viable to provide support to all students. Select mentorship may be available at a later date.
